HOLA RAZA!!!!

First, earlier this week, I was reading an item in our newspaper that basically said ‘ROCKS FROM MARS FOUND IN AFRICA’! And supposedly, somewhere in ‘Morocco’, which is either in ‘Africa’, or near ‘Duluth’ (named after artist: ‘Duluth Lautrec’!); both desolate places, is where scientists found these ‘rocks’ from Mars! Raza, in my short time on this planet ‘Earth’, The Mexican Revolution has booked some ‘Off-The-Beaten-Path’ gigs, some even in Europe; but I’ve not been to, or even near this ‘Morocco’ place. But from the old ‘Road to Morocco’ 1940’s movie with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope, and some ‘History’ stuff on TV; I know that the landscape around ‘Morocco’, save for an occasional Palm Tree, consists of ‘Sand’ and…’ROCKS’! Anyway, after reading the article and curiosity now aroused, I got on my computer and Googled ‘Mars Rocks’ and found an article with this bit of news that stated that, in fact, 15 pounds of ‘Mars Rocks’, some weighing up to 2 pounds, were discovered near Morocco!

Ok Raza, the whole Holiday season is finally done, at least for awhile, and so now it’s back to carping about one thing or another!

Well, I went to fuel up my car the other day, and I noticed, as you probably did, that the price of gasoline has gone up from an ‘under $3 dollars’ price back up to around $3.15 and climbing! At least that’s that case here in Austin and surrounding cities! Everytime the price of gasoline goes up, I’ve gotten in the habit of getting a newspaper and watching the TV news to see what the Oil Weasels have dreamed up to raise the price of gas! And why; would you guess, is the latest reason the ‘Oil Weasels’ raised the price?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

2011 is now gone and but a memory, Raza; and I’ve just made a new ‘Mentiras folder’on my computer for this new year, and it sits right next in line after the one labled 2011! But I’m scared…or rather ‘hesitant’ (Good word, look it up!) to label it ‘2012′! And it’s all because of those smart-ass ‘Mayans’ who started a calendar back in the year 3372 B.C., but couldn’t or wouldn’t, and didn’t quite finish it; and in so doing, or not doing, left us with two (2) problems!

Merry Christmas! Hola! and Hello once again before ‘Christmas’ and the ‘New Year 2012′ rolls around, Raza!

Today, I have to explain in great detail why our Gorillas chose this past weekend to do their job in a timely and well-planned manner; so bear with me, Raza!

HOLA RAZA!!! FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!

First, Raza, on behalf of ‘The Mexican Revolution Gorillas’, ‘Bobby y Los Flames’, ‘Jorge and the East-Side Porch Monkeys’ and all of us in the music business; “Feliz Navidad” and “Merry Christmas”!!!

Next, especially in the greater Austin area; ‘Plastic Bags’! Starting today, I’m gonna start saving those ‘plastic bags’ I get with my groceries and other purchases’ at the HEB, Randall’s, Wal-Mart and anywhere else! Why? Well, I just read that in our area, our ‘illustrious’ (Good word, look it up!) Mayor of our fair city, Lee Leffinwell (not ‘Laughing well’!) and council members Mike Martinez and Chris Riley, in an effort to slowly phase out of circulation these plastic bags that don’t ‘biodegrade’ (Good word, look it up!) and pollute waterways, harm wildlife, clog drainage systems, take up landfill space and generally cause ‘mayhem’ and ‘consternation’ (Good words, look ‘em up!); have formulated a plan to rid our city of these same bags!
